Server Maintenance

Just a quick note that we’ll be performing some server upgrades tonight. Our expected maintenance window is 1AM-4AM ET, during which time the site will be unavailable.

But I was going to stay up all night putting it my tasting notes…
So was I. I guess we’ll both have to wait for another night.
And what do these server upgrades get us?
If you’re reading this, the servers are back online and we’re ready to get back to business.
@Honda, we upgraded a few of our boxes with some spicy new hardware to improve performance and reliability!
I can’t remember the exact hardware changes, but it involved adding some new servers, another half terabyte of storage(!) as well as an additional 32GB of RAM across several of the servers.
Little ol’ Snooth no longer has a little ol’ server expense!
This doesn’t cover all the coming hardware improvements. The largest upgrade has yet to come, but expect it to be in place within the next few weeks.
